I am trying to tune in at school, work, etc.. and Im being blocked! Help!
Thats usually the case when trying to tune in from universitys, colleges, schools etc.. They block most incoming ports by firewalls. This isnt a problem though, Just click on the Port 80 tune in link from the table above and you'll be listening in no time!
The stream seems to be skipping (Buffering) Is it my connection or your stream?
All shows on Bassjunkees are broadcast at 128kbps. In order to listen to our shows with no buffering, you must have a broadband connection (A/DSL / Cable / T1). If you connect to the internet via a Dial-Up modem, the stream will buffer for you, as your download speed can not keep up with the rate at which the broadcast is being streamed to you.
If you are connected to the internet via broadband are still experiencing this problem, the problem may lie with the artist currently broadcasting. S/he maybe experiencing connection or related issues. Please inform the Artist on air via the chatroom so that the problem can be corrected by them ASAP. (Usually a member of our admin team will have picked up the problem by the time you have read this)
